The forstner bits are comprised of high speed steel for excellent performance. Each forstner bit in this set is clearly marked with: penny, nickel, dime, quarter, half dollar, and dollar respectively for easy identification.

This set comes with an adjustable depth stop collar that doesn't require any clips or pins, making it easy to change bits and bit depth. The depth stop ring is adjusted with a simple counter-clockwise turn of the hex key wrench (included). Ball bearings in the depth stop let the forstner bit spin while the stop rest's on the stock without marking or burning the wood.
