These rings reduce the space around smaller diameter bits and will drastically reduce unwanted tearout. Also helps to provide better stock support near the bits cutting edge. Designed to be used with your router in either free-hand or table mounted applications. The reducer rings attach directly to any router or mounting plate that has a standard 1-3/16" hole opening. For all other routers, order one of our universal template guide mounting plates. Ideal for spiral and straight bits, v-grooves, round nose, dovetails, plunge bits or any other bit which has an outside diameter of 7/8" or less. Made of non-ferrous brass, these rings will not harm your bit's cutting edge. Set includes openings of 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", 7/8" and a brass lock nut. Patent pending.

Comments: I just received these earlier this week and I am very happy with them. They are built very well and fit the Milescraft bases that I use perfectly. I would recommend you jump on these while you can.
