Pounding the trunion into alignment using a hammer & block of wood are gone forever! Nothing will make the job as easy as our PALS kit. PALS will allow you to align your saw perfectly in a few minutes with little effort. It provides you with a simple way to get the trunion perfectly aligned using a pair of "micro-adjusting" screws at the ends of the rear trunion. All you will need are a few tools, a few drops of thread locking compound and a dial indicator to make a perfect adjustment. Check the parts manual for your saw or remove only one nut from the trunion to confirm the thread size and select the correct kit below. USA

Comments: Using a dial face tester, this device allows adjustments to be made in increments of 1/1000 of an inch. This enables VERY accurate cuts on my 30 year old Craftsman saw.

Comments: This is great for contractor type saws. just as a suggestion what I did was to set my saw on the bench with the table in the vertical position so I could access the underside at the same time. another tip, use small magnets to act as stops for your dial indicator so you always go back to the same points along the calibration bar. Last item, Do not use a blade for alignment and check your arbor for wobble first.
