Stop destroying your wet/dry shop vacuum filters while trying to clean them. Now you can re-use the same filter elements over and over again simply by using this filter cleaning system. Place your filter in the 5 gallon plastic bucket, close the lid and attach any drill to the top. Centrifugal force cleans your filter in seconds. Once the dust settles, dump the bucket and you are done. There is virtually no mess and it is perfect for sawdust or drywall dust. There is no more damage to those expensive filters. Cleans all major brands of shop vacuum filters. See our website for video of this product in action. USA

Comments:
Just tried cleaning a CleanStream filter I use in my Rigid 16gal vacs. The same as Craftsman Red, which Tornado says will work. Fine. Directions say can't spin over 1000 RPM. As such it doesn't seem to produce enough centrifugal force to spin enough dirt out. Filter clogged with normal sawdust and dirt debris from shop floor, nothing out of the ordinary. Filter only about half clean after using Tornado. Filter frequently falls off axis inside the bucket while spinning and hits the sides of the container. Horribly out of balance piece of gear for something designed to spin. Tried with several drills, all of which do not wobble on their own. Difficult to place filter centered in the bucket on the first place. If I keep this at all it will be for only removing the first half of debris and then spinning filter dry after washing my CleanStreams with water in the usual way.

Comments:
I have used this filter cleaner for a few months and have had great a experience. It does just what it says. I used to beat my filters in a trash can. Dust would go everywhere including on me. Now I just open the top of the cleaner, drop it in, spin it and pull out a clean filter without any dust on me!! Being that I am a car cleaning fanatic, I use this product at least every other month. Typically I would have to buy 3 to 4 filters a year. I haven't bought a new on in over a year. That more than pays for the cost of this unit. Thank you to the person who finally invented something practical and actually works!!! I recommend this to anyone who uses a shop vac.

Comments:
I have found that the product cleans the filters well if I use my electric drill and higher speeds than recommended. I have been unable to produce acceptable results with any cordless drills. I use a few short pulses and the filter comes out clean.

Doesn't Work Very Well. Tried it out on a filter not nearly as dirty as the on in video. Filter was somewhat cleaner but you could still knock dirt off it.
