Comments:
Initially when I installed it on my Jet bandsaw, it worked well. After a short period of time the threads on the shaft or the nut broke and froze the crank. In trying to free it, the pin holding the handle to the shaft broke causing the handle to spin free. In trying to remove the shaft and nut from the tensioning housing, I broke the cast housing and had to order a replacement housing from Jet. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Put the money toward a quick release tensioner instead.

Comments:
I installed the crank on my 14" Jet band saw and have had no problems. I did notice that they insist you use the supplied nut as opposed to the one on your band saw, even though the threads are the same. In a few seconds, you have the tension completely released. The knob supplied with the saw is a joke and a huge hassle. Well worth the reasonable price!
