5 StarsI have been building electric guitars for several years now, and tearout from routing perimeter curves has plagued me for years. The amount of extra caution needed to route properly with a straight flute bit was a hassle. With the use of these Spiral Upcut bits, a router table, and template, I am able to route 1 3/4" guitar bodies and 1" thick rock maple effortlessly. The time saving, and smooth cut makes the expense of these bits neglible. Every luthier should try one.
